The Sindh government has announced a holiday in educational institutions across the province on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat, and a notification to this effect has been issued.
According to the Sindh School Education Department, educational institutions will remain closed on 15th Sha’ban 1447 AH, corresponding to February 4, 2026, in observance of Shab-e-Barat.

The department has issued a formal notification in this regard, which will apply to both public and private schools.
It is worth noting that on 14th Sha’ban, Muslims in Pakistan and around the world will engage in special prayers and religious observances, including the offering of Salat al-Tasbih in mosques.
