Tremors were felt in Khuzdar district of Balochistan on Friday, causing brief panic among residents.
According to the Seismological Centre, the earthquake measured 4.3 on the Richter scale with a depth of 12 kilometres. The epicentre was located approximately 70 kilometres southwest of Khuzdar.
Separately, earthquake tremors measuring 5.3 were also reported in Islamabad and several cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding to public concern.
During the tremors, residents were seen rushing out of their homes while reciting prayers. Authorities confirmed that no loss of life or property has been reported so far.
Officials continue to monitor the situation, urging the public to remain calm while staying alert for possible aftershocks.
