Gold Correction: After jumping by Rs 10,900 per tola on Monday to hit a peak of Rs 532,062, local gold prices decreased by Rs 1,500 on Tuesday.
The local dip mirrored a slight cooling in global markets, where gold fell by $15 per ounce to settle at $5,082.
Despite the decline in gold, silver soared to a fresh all-time high of Rs 11,640 per tola. Globally, silver also saw gains, trading at approximately $111.65 per ounce.
These record-breaking prices are driven by sustained international bullion market surges, where gold recently crossed the significant $5,000 per ounce threshold for the first time
