Harare: Pakistan Under-19 produced a commanding performance in the Super Six stage of the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, defeating New Zealand by eight wickets.
Chasing a modest target of 111 runs, Pakistan reached the total in the 18th over, losing just two wickets and sealing victory with 197 balls to spare.
Opener Samir Minhas led the chase with an impressive unbeaten knock, scoring 76 runs off 59 deliveries. He brought up his half-century from just 39 balls, anchoring Pakistan’s dominant batting display.

Earlier, New Zealand were bowled out for 110 in the 29th over. Hugo Buggio was the top scorer for the Kiwis, contributing 39 runs.
The comprehensive win further strengthened Pakistan’s position in the Super Six stage of the tournament.
