The rescue and relief operation led by Pakistan Army is continuing in the snowfall hit areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
In this regard, Pakistan Army established control centers in different areas of Balochistan including Ziarat, Bolan, Zhob, Qila Saifullah, Khojak Top, Lak Pass, Dukki, and Muslim Bagh.
Pakistan Army is also providing basic necessities including food, medical assistance to the rescued people and tourists. Similarly, rescue and relief activities is also in full swing in District Kurram amid intense rain and snowfall.
An immediate rescue operation was launched by Pakistan Army to assist the local population and restore ground communication links. All affected roads have been fully restored by effectively utilizing heavy machinery and manpower.
Prompt relief activities enabled locals to regain access to markets and healthcare centers. Additionally, critical ground routes were also restored.Pakistan Army officers and soldiers are personally monitoring the relief operations despite extremely harsh weather and difficult terrain.
Likewise, in Tirah Valley, the soldiers of Pakistan Army are actively engaged in relief efforts amid heavy snowfall, without caring for their own safety.
