Following a series of leaked videos of Pakistani TikTokers and social media influencers, most of them obscene, another Pakistani TikToker, Alina Amir, is in the limelight due to a reportedly similar video.
The posts use sensational keywords and thumbnails showing a ‘leaked private video’ to attract users to click on links claiming to feature content about Alina. However, some of these clips do not show the actual video and instead redirect users to malicious sites.
What does Alina Amir say?
Alina Amir has firmly denied the allegations, stating that the video circulating online is fake and created using artificial intelligence with the intent to harm her reputation. After a week of staying silent amid online rumors, Amir posted a detailed video statement on Instagram to address the controversy that has captivated social media.
“I did not want to speak publicly at first. For a whole week, I watched quietly,” she said, adding that she felt forced to respond after seeing hundreds of posts falsely claiming her private video had been leaked.
Alina announces reward for information leading to the creator
The influencer also appealed directly to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, asking for strict legal action against those who produce AI-generated illicit content targeting women. While demanding accountability, she praised law enforcement for their continued efforts against cybercrime.
Moreover, Amir announced a cash reward for anyone providing credible information leading to the identification of the person behind the fake video, stressing the importance of punishment to prevent similar incidents in the future.
