Gold prices in Pakistan climbed on Monday, tracking gains in the international market, while silver surged to a record high. In the local market, the price of gold rose by Rs7,500 per tola to settle at Rs489,362.
Likewise, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs428 to Rs419,549, according to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This rebound followed a decline on Saturday, when gold prices had fallen by Rs6,431 per tola to Rs481,862.

In the international market, gold jumped by $75 to $4,670 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices climbed by Rs300 to reach a new all-time high of Rs9,782 per tola.
