Allegations of a fake police encounter have surfaced in Dadu after a well-known local businessman and landowner, Nadar Khan Jamali, died from gunshot injuries while reportedly in police custody, raising serious concerns over police conduct in Sindh.
According to local sources and statements from the victim’s family, Jamali was taken into custody by Dadu police on Tuesday evening.
Family members allege that he was later shot in both legs under the guise of a police encounter. They claim that excessive bleeding caused his death before he could receive adequate medical treatment.
