Gold prices in Pakistan extended their downward trend on Thursday, in line with a decline in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs2,400 to Rs454,562.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs2,058, settling at Rs389,713.

Earlier on Tuesday, gold per tola had declined by Rs2,500 to Rs456,962.
In the global market, gold prices slipped by $24 to $4,322 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also edged lower, shedding Rs83 to reach Rs7,635 per tola.
