The Chairman of the Board of Higher Secondary Education Karachi announced the results of the Intermediate Part I Science (General Group) annual examinations for 2025 on Friday.
Controller of Examinations Zareena Rasheed, while sharing details of the results, said that 19,212 candidates were registered for the Science General Group examinations, out of which 18,813 candidates appeared in the exams.
A total of 9,678 candidates passed in all six papers; 3,542 candidates passed in papers; 2,353 students passed in four papers; 1,405 candidates passed in three papers; 860 passed in two papers, while 580 candidates were declared successful in one paper.
Chairman Fakir Muhammad Lakho said that, for the first time in the history of the Karachi Inter Board, the Mathematics paper for the Science General Group was conducted under the e-marking system.
The evaluation of the Mathematics paper was carried out through e-marking in accordance with a modern rubrics system, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and quality.
He further said that the Karachi Inter Board is continuously taking steps to modernize its examination system.
