Extremely cold and dry weather continued across Balochistan. Minimum temperature in Quetta was recorded at -4°C,–5°C in Ziarat.
According to the Meteorological Department, intense cold persists in most districts of the province, while northern districts are expected to experience extremely cold conditions.
Partly cloudy skies are likely in the northwestern districts.
The Meteorological Department reported that the minimum temperature recorded this morning was minus 4 degrees Celsius in Quetta and 6 degrees Celsius in Qalat.
In Ziarat, the temperature dropped to minus 5 degrees Celsius, while Zhob recorded a minimum temperature of 3 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature in Sibi was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius, while Turbat saw a low of 11 degrees Celsius. In Nokundi, the mercury fell to 1 degree Celsius, whereas Chaman recorded 2 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, coastal areas of Balochistan, including Gwadar and Jiwani, recorded a minimum temperature of 9 degrees Celsius.
