In a masterful display of selective amnesia, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has successfully concluded the U19 Asia Cup without ever acknowledging the existence of the team that actually won it.
Following a “slight scheduling mishap” in the final, where India’s youngsters were reportedly defeated by 191 runs, the official BCCI social media handle posted a scorecard link that curiously failed to mention the Green Shirts by name.

Fans were left to wonder if India had been defeated by a sentient fog, a group of highly athletic ghosts, or perhaps a localized gravitational anomaly that caused the Boys in Blue to be bowled out for 156.
The “Invisible Champions” (who some radical eyewitnesses claim are actually Pakistan) posted a mountain of runs, 347/8, led by a century from Sameer Minhas. However, per the BCCI’s official report, India simply “suffered a defeat” in a vacuum.
