Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Saturday, tracking gains in the international market.
In the local bullion market, the price of gold increased by Rs1,300 to settle at Rs456,162 per tola.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold climbed by Rs1,115 to Rs391,085, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Friday, gold prices had fallen by Rs900, closing at Rs454,862 per tola.
In the global market, gold advanced by $13 to $4,338 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium.
Silver prices also moved higher, rising by Rs139 to Rs6,987 per tola.
It should be noted that the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
