Fake faith-healer arrested in Rawalpindi for harassing woman

Rawalpindi police have arrested a man accused of harassing a woman under the pretence of spiritual healing.

According to police, the complainant told investigators that she visited the suspect for dam (spiritual treatment), during which he allegedly behaved indecently with her.

Following her complaint, Waris Khan police registered a case and took the accused into custody.

SP Rawal said the suspect will be presented before the court with solid evidence.

He added that violence or harassment against women and children will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
