Citizens across the country will be able to enjoy four consecutive holidays at the end of the current month, according to the official holiday schedule.
The nation will observe a public holiday across the country to mark the birthday of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Christmas. Government and private institutions will remain closed.
An additional holiday has been designated for Pakistan’s Christian community to allow them time for special religious and traditional activities.
By combining the standard Saturday and Sunday holidays, citizens will be able to enjoy four days off consecutively.
It is worth noting that the federal government had issued the annual holiday calendar for 2025 at the beginning of the year.
The nationwide holiday on December 25 and the special holiday for the Christian community on December 26 were both set according to this calendar.
