A fast-track cell has been established at the Accountant General Punjab Office to ensure that retired employees receive their GP Fund payments without delay.
Additional Chief Secretary Punjab, Ahmad Raza Sarwar, inaugurated the new cell. Accountant General Punjab, Naumana Gul Rukh, officers of the AG Office, and employees from various departments retiring in 2025 attended the event.
Addressing the participants, Additional Chief Secretary Ahmad Raza Sarwar said that the purpose of the GP Fund Fast-Track Cell is to make the process easier for retiring employees. He added that they will no longer have to run from office to office to get their dues.
Accountant General Punjab, Naumana Gul Rukh, said the fast-track system will improve transparency and efficiency.
She added that employees’ yearly data will be automatically updated in the system, enabling retirees to submit their files and receive their GP Fund without complications.
She further stated that if any employee faces difficulties in obtaining their GP Fund, the doors of her office are always open for assistance. Sheets were also distributed among recently retired employees from various departments during the ceremony.
