Pakistani YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, broke his silence after spending  100 days in jail, accusing the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) of subjecting him to physical and verbal abuse while in custody.

Saad ur Rehman was arrested by the NCCIA in August at Lahore Airport. He was accused of promoting online gambling and betting applications through his platform. Although the Lahore High Court granted him bail on November 25, he was still not released from government custody.

Meanwhile, in September, NCCIA Lahore’s Additional Director Sarfraz Chaudhry was removed from his position following various controversies, including allegations of mistreating Ducky Bhai.

In the video uploaded on Sunday, Saad ur Rehman recounted the events from his arrest to his remand in NCCIA custody. He claimed he met Sarfraz Chaudhry, whom he accused of verbally and physically abusing him.

Saad said, “He stood up from his chair and started abusing me. He asked where my money comes from. I said it comes from YouTube, I have 8 million subscribers. He accused me of corrupting children’s minds.”

“He kept abusing me and slapped me so many times that I lost count,” Saad claimed.

He further alleged that officials attempted to bribe him, offering to settle the matter for 700 to 800 million rupees, an amount he did not have.

He added that during his detention, authorities seized $326,000 from him. The investigation officer (IO) forced him to open his Binance account, closed all his trades and tokens at a loss, converted them into US dollars, and then ordered him to transfer the funds.

The YouTuber alleged that the IO transferred the money into his personal account.

Saad ur Rehman said that on the first day of his detention, he felt “completely helpless,” alleging that despite cooperating with the investigation, he was beaten by officials.

He said that when he met someone he knew, he requested them to ask the guards to “hit him less.”
