Karachi recorded its coldest winter morning today, with temperatures dropping by 3.4°C compared to the previous day.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Karachi is expected to remain cold and dry over the next 24 hours.
The city recorded a minimum temperature of 13°C today, while tomorrow the minimum temperature is expected to range between 12°C and 14°C.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was 28.5°C, and today it is expected to reach 29°C.
Winds from different directions are expected at a speed of 5 to 20 km/h, with humidity levels likely ranging between 20% and 50% over the next 24 hours.
Due to light fog this morning, visibility in Karachi was recorded at 3 kilometers.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has forecasted severe cold weather across most parts of the country.
It said that Islamabad and surrounding areas are likely to experience cold and dry weather.
Most districts of Punjab are expected to have cold and dry conditions, with smog possible in several cities. Most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also experience cold and dry weather, while the hilly regions of the province are likely to face severe cold.
