Gold prices in Pakistan on Wednesday continued to rise, mirroring the upward trend in the International market.
It should be noted that daily rates are typically announced around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs438,862 after an increase of Rs2,300 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs376,253 after it gained Rs1,972, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, the per-tola price of gold reached Rs436,562 after an increase of Rs7,700 during the day.
The international rate of gold increased by $23 to reach $4,165 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, the price of silver also increased by Rs60 to reach Rs5,482 per tola.
