Police have arrested a woman who abducted a university student on the pretext of earning money online in Punjab’s Sahiwal district.
According to the report, the kidnapping took place three days ago. The District Police Officer (DPO) said the student left home for university, but shortly afterward, her phone was switched off and she never reached the campus.
DPO Usman Tipu said that a woman on social media had lured the student with an online income offer and then kidnapped her.
Police from Farid Town, using modern technology, the police team arrested the female kidnapper in Sialkot and recovered the 19-year-old student safely.

Last week, two minors sisters were allegedly abducted while on their way to school in the Manga Mandi area.
According to the parents, private security footage captured the girls walking in their school uniforms before they mysteriously vanished.
It should be noted that earlier a 22-year-old woman, identified as “K,” was abducted from Shadbagh, Lahore three weeks ago and later discovered unconscious in Eminabad, Gujranwala. Investigations indicate she had been injected with powerful sedatives and left on a deserted road.
