Indian actress Celina Jaitly has filed a domestic violence case against her husband, Peter Haag.
This development comes just days after the actress shared heartbreaking details regarding the disappearance of her brother.
Her brother, Major (R) Vikrant Kumar Jaitly, was allegedly subjected to nine months of enforced disappearance and subsequent detention, after which Celina approached the Delhi High Court seeking justice.
According to reports, Celina Jaitly has submitted an application before the Judicial Magistrate First Class in Andheri, Mumbai, in which she has levelled serious allegations of domestic violence against her husband.
In her petition, the actress stated that Peter Haag is a narcissistic and self-centered individual who lacks empathy not only for her but also for their children.
Celina Jaitly said she suffered severe mental and physical distress due to her husband’s behaviour, which ultimately forced her to leave their home in Australia and return to India.
The actress has also sought compensation of ₹50 crore in damages, as well as reimbursement for financial and property losses.
The case has sparked deep concern across Bollywood and social circles, while fans and activists continue to express their support for the actress.
