Mild earthquake tremors were felt in Balochistan’s Kalat district, according to the Seismology Center, which reported the epicenter near Kalat.
Details reveal that the earthquake measured 3.0 on the Richter scale with a depth of 12 kilometers. The tremors caused panic in the affected areas.
Residents rushed out of their homes reciting the Kalma Tayyaba as soon as they felt the tremors. According to initial reports, no loss of life or property has been reported so far.
It is worth noting that earlier as well, late-night tremors were felt in various districts of Balochistan, with the intensity recorded at 5.0 on the Richter scale, as confirmed by the Seismology Center.
According to the center, the earlier earthquake occurred at 2:45 am on the night of November 7 and 8. Tremors were felt in Ziarat, Harnai, Zardalu, Shergh, Muslim Bagh, Khanozai, Kan Mehtarzai, Rod Malazai, Surkhab and several surrounding areas.
Some parts of the provincial capital, Quetta, also experienced mild shocks. However, no casualties or property damage were reported in that incident as well.
