Pakistan Shaheens will face Bangladesh A in the final of the Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2025 in Doha today, Sunday.
The tournament, organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), was first held in 2013 and has completed six editions to date. This year’s competition, played in the T20 format, has been rebranded as the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025.
The event began on November 14 with eight teams, including five developmental squads from full-member nations and three associate sides.
Pakistan Shaheens have remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, recording victories over Oman, UAE, and arch-rivals India in the group stage. They then edged past Sri Lanka A in a thrilling last-over semifinal to secure their spot in the final.
Bangladesh A reached the final after defeating India A in a closely contested semifinal.
