Zimbabwe has given Pakistan a target of 148 runs to win in the first match of the Tri-Nation T20 Series being played at the Rawalpindi Stadium.
The Zimbabwean team scored 147 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Brian Bennett was the top scorer with 49 runs.
Pakistan’s captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and invited Zimbabwe to bat first.
Zimbabwe had a strong start against Pakistan, with the openers putting together an impressive partnership of 72 runs. However, Marumani was dismissed after scoring 30 runs.
The second setback for Zimbabwe came in the form of Brendan Taylor, who was run out after scoring 14. After that, the set batter Brian Bennett was dismissed for 49.

Moreover, Ryan Burl scored 8, and captain Sikandar Raza managed 34 runs. Zimbabwe finished their innings at 147 for 8 in the allotted overs.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz took 2 wickets, while Saim Ayub, Abrar Ahmed, Salman Mirza, and Shaheen Afridi claimed one wicket each.
It is worth mentioning that Pakistan, Zimbabwe, and Sri Lanka are participating in the Tri-Nation Series.
