Chasing a target of 148 runs, Pakistan reached the total with 5 wickets down in the final over. Captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and invited Zimbabwe to bat first.
Zimbabwe managed 147 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
The openers shared an initial partnership of 72 runs, but Marumani was dismissed for 30, followed by Brandon Taylor, who was run out for 14. Brian Bennett top-scored with 49 runs, while captain Sikandar Raza contributed 34.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz took 2 wickets, while Saeem Ayub, Abrar Ahmed, Salman Mirza, and Shaheen Afridi claimed one wicket each.
