The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has rejected Bangladesh’s offer for a tri-nation series in December, citing players’ workload as the reason.
According to a report, the Bangladesh Cricket Board had offered the PCB to participate in a tri-nation series in December. However, the board did not accept the proposal, considering the players’ workload.
The report, quoting sources, stated that Shaheen Afridi, Babar Azam, and a few other players have already committed to playing in the Big Bash League in December.
The Sri Lankan cricket team was also included in the T20 tri-series plan, but after PCB’s reported refusal, the Bangladesh Cricket Board is now exploring other possibilities for the series.
It is worth mentioning that the national cricket team is currently playing a three-match series against Sri Lanka, the first match of which Pakistan won yesterday by a margin of 6 runs.
