A grand inauguration of the Human Resource and Manpower Expo has taken place in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, with prominent and active participation from Pakistan’s public and private institutions.
At the expo, stalls were set up by the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), the Chief Minister Skilled Punjab Program, and for the first time, by the Balochistan Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (B-TEVTA), which received a tremendous response from visitors.
Pakistan’s Ambassador Ahmed Farooq and Executive Director of the Overseas Employment Corporation, Muhammad Amir Jan, participated in the opening ceremony and officially inaugurated the expo.
On this occasion, both esteemed guests stated in their speeches that the relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are longstanding, strong, and based on mutual trust.
They stated that their priority is to provide maximum skilled individuals from Pakistan with better employment opportunities in Saudi Arabia so that economic and manpower relations between the two countries are further strengthened.
Several international companies related to human resources, workforce, and employment promotion also participated in the expo, while Pakistani stalls received special interest from foreign delegates and local participants.
