Under Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision of “Digital Punjab,” the Chief Minister’s IT Internship Program has been formally launched across the province, as reported by national media on Saturday.
According to details, the purpose of this program is to train IT and computer science graduates according to market needs and provide them with practical employment opportunities.
Under the program, selected graduates will be offered a five-month internship in renowned IT companies and software houses. During the internship, students will receive a monthly scholarship of Rs50,000.
The program will serve as a bridge between IT companies and educational institutions, enabling graduates to learn directly from professional experts and gain hands-on experience in modern technology.
IT and computer science graduates from Punjab who have completed a four-year degree can apply online to participate in this program. To apply, students can fill out the form at this website.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that Punjab is being developed into an IT hub to open new avenues of progress by connecting youth with modern technology.
She further said that the Nawaz Sharif IT City will prove to be a game-changer project that will lay the foundation for Pakistan’s digital future.
