The headless and naked body of a woman with her palms severed was found floating in a drain in Noida’s Sector 108 on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
Police suspect the body was dumped there after the murder occurred elsewhere, likely to conceal the victim’s identity and erase forensic evidence.

Local residents and a sweeper noticed a foul odor and the body floating in the drain, after which they informed the police.
The woman’s identity has yet to be ascertained due to the missing head and hands. Police are currently scanning missing persons’ databases across the Delhi-NCR region.
A special investigation team has been formed, and forensic experts were deployed to the scene to collect evidence.
Authorities are also reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding areas to track any suspicious activity or the vehicle used to dispose of the body.
The motive behind the murder is still under investigation.
While most reports specify Sector 108, some police statements mention the body was found near the Sector 82 Noida cut, both considered posh localities.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are seeking any information that might help identify the victim or the perpetrators.
