The female suspect who brutally murdered a woman and dismembered her body into two pieces has been arrested in Pakpattan. The victim’s body parts have been recovered.
According to details, in Pakpattan, the female suspect, along with an accomplice, slaughtered the woman on suspicion of her brother’s murder. Police said the suspects killed the woman with stab wounds from a knife and cut the body into two pieces.
Pakpattan police said the suspect, Rashida, along with her accomplice, put the body pieces in a bag and threw it in a field. Police have registered a case on the complaint of the victim, Aqsa Bibi’s uncle, Jafar.
Police have arrested the suspect, Rashida, on whose indication the victim’s body was recovered; however, her accomplice is still at large. Police said the accomplice will be arrested soon.
It should be noted that this is not the first incident of its kind. Similar incidents have occurred in the past in Punjab where suspects have taken the lives of close relatives on suspicion of murder or infidelity; however, strict action is being taken against it.
