Sukkur IBA University has announced the results of MDCAT 2025, in which students from Karachi outperformed all others, as reported by national media on Saturday.
According to details, the top three positions in the MDCAT 2025 examination were secured by students from Karachi. Out of the 124 candidates included in the top 10 category, 41 belonged to Karachi.
Across Sindh, 56 percent of A-One and A-grade students failed the MDCAT. In MBBS, 56 percent of candidates failed, while 48 percent of BDS candidates could not pass the test.
However, 14,300 candidates scored 55 percent or above in MBBS, while 17,123 candidates scored 50 percent or above in BDS, thus qualifying.
Karachi’s Syed Mahmood Khan secured the first position with 175 marks out of 180. Faisal Ashraf Khan from Korangi and Shiraz Hussain from Qambar Shahdadkot secured 174 marks each.
Both Faisal Ashraf Khan and Shiraz Hussain jointly stood second. Karachi’s Muhammad Rayan, Humayun, Mahnoor Shah Nawaz, and Hyderabad’s Hira Abid stood third.
