The second match of the three-match T20 series between Pakistan and South Africa will be played today at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. The national team will make every effort to win this match and level the series.
According to details, all tickets for Friday’s match have been sold out. Both teams held intense practice sessions at Gaddafi Stadium for today’s match, where players practiced fielding, batting, and bowling.
So far, out of the 25 T20 matches played between the two teams in the past, 13 have been won by South Africa, while Pakistan has won 12.
It is worth mentioning that in the first T20 match of the series played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, while chasing a target of 195 runs, the Pakistan team was all out for 139 in the 19th over.
From Pakistan, Saim Ayub scored 37 runs and Sahibzada Farhan made 24. Babar Azam was out for zero, while captain Salman Ali Agha scored 2 and Hasan Nawaz 3 runs.
Pakistan had won the toss and invited the visiting team to bat first. The visitors scored 194 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Reeza Hendricks played a brilliant innings of 60 runs off 40 balls, George Linde scored 36, and Tony de Zorzi made a quick 33 off 16 balls.
