Another incident of brutality occurred in Pakistan as a landlord in Punjab cut off the leg of a cow for entering his field to graze. The incident took place in the Mohal area of the Dina tehsil of the Jhelum district.
According to the details, the cow had entered the landowner’s field, on which the landlord, along with his companion, cut off the cow’s leg with an axe. According to the police, the cow was found in the fields in a seriously injured condition, and a case has been registered.
Police said that the cow was subjected to cruelty when it entered the fields. The Dina police station is conducting raids to arrest the accused, whose name has yet to be disclosed.
It may be recalled that, in September 2025, a brutal incident of animal cruelty occurred in the Saleh Pat area of Sukkur, Sindh, where a landowner and his employees severely tortured a young female camel, identified later as Chandni (or Sumi). The animal’s leg was crushed, jaw broken, and she sustained other injuries after allegedly straying into the landlord’s field in search of water and food
