Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has warned that testing Pakistan’s resolve and capabilities will prove to be very costly for the Taliban. The response to any adventure will be devastating; if the Taliban regime tries to fight, the world will see their destruction.
In his message on social media platform X on Wednesday, Asif said that the poisonous statements of the Afghan Taliban were unacceptable; Pakistan was giving a chance to the neighboring brotherly country for peace; if any terrorist attack occurs in Pakistan, a strong response would be given.
The defense minister said that the Taliban government was constantly requesting some brotherly countries; at the request of these same countries, Pakistan accepted the offer of peace talks. Poisonous statements show that there was chaos and deceit in the Taliban government.
While on the request of brotherly countries who were persistently being beseeched by Taliban Regime, Pakistan indulged in talks to give peace a chance, venomous statements by certain Afghan officials clearly reflect the devious and splintered mindset of Taliban regime.

He said, “Pakistan does not need to use all its power to end the Taliban regime; if the Taliban regime so desires, the Tora Bora scene can be repeated. It will certainly be a new and interesting sight for the world to see the Taliban running away.”
He further said that it was regrettable that the Taliban regime was pushing Afghanistan into another conflict. The purpose of pushing it into conflict is to maintain its occupying rule and save the war economy.
“The Taliban are well aware of their weakness and the hollow reality of their claims of war. Beating the drums of war is apparently a failed attempt to save their deteriorating reputation among the Afghan people. If the Afghan Taliban are still determined to destroy Afghanistan and its people, then whatever is to be done will be done,” he warned.
“Taliban fighters are spreading unrest in the region for personal gain. Pakistan warns that they may have misunderstood Pakistan’s resolve and courage. If the Taliban regime tries to fight, the world will see that their threats are just for show. Pakistan will not tolerate any terrorist or suicide attack on its soil. Testing Pakistan’s resolve and capabilities will prove to be very costly for them,” he added.
