Gold prices surged by Rs 3500 per tola in Pakistan on Wednesday, in line with an increase in the prices of the yellow metal in the global market.

As per the data shared by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Associations, the price of 24-carat gold increased by Rs 3500 per tola to Rs 419862.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold surged by Rs 3000 to Rs 359963, and the price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold hiked by Rs 2751 to Rs 329978.
In the international market, the price of the yellow metal surged by $35 per ounce to $3975.
Silver prices also surged both in the local and global markets. In Pakistan the price of 24-carat silver surged by Rs 110 to Rs 5034, and the price of 10 grams of 24-carat silver increased by Rs 94 to Rs 4315. In the international market the silver price hiked by $1.10 to $47.72.
On Tuesday, gold prices witnessed a major decline in Pakistan.
