The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports has denied making any changes to the front cover page of the Pakistani passport.
Following various rumors circulating on social media regarding the Pakistani passport, the Directorate took serious notice and issued a clarification statement.
According to the department, no modification has been made to the front cover of the Pakistani passport, and the images circulating on social media are completely fake.

The statement urged citizens to act responsibly and avoid paying attention to false information. It further clarified that, apart from certain enhanced security features, no alterations have been made to the national passport.
Legal action will be taken against individuals spreading false propaganda regarding the country’s passport.
