Pakistan’s egg exports have seen a sharp increase in recent months, with the US becoming the latest country importing eggs from Pakistan.
According to the Department of Animal Quarantine, total egg exports to the USA have reached up to 2.37 million dollars. A significant rise in Pakistan’s egg exports is being observed in the current financial year.
Eggs are exported from Pakistan to countries including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Qatar, Somalia, Afghanistan, and others.
In the financial year 2024-25, egg exports to the UAE amounted to 1.723 million dollars, to Hong Kong 544 thousand dollars, to Bahrain 329.5 thousand dollars, to Kuwait 316.54 thousand dollars, to Somalia 241 thousand dollars, and to Afghanistan 1.07 million dollars.
Eggs have also been exported from Pakistan in liquid form.
In the financial year 2024-25, 1,169 metric tons of eggs were exported in liquid form, valued at 2.612 million dollars.

Liquid egg exports go to Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Egg exports from Pakistan amounted to 1.825 million dollars in financial year 2024-25, compared to 1.4 million dollars in the financial year 2023-24.
