Gold prices witnessed a massive drop of Rs 10600 per tola in Pakistan on Saturday, after the rates of the yellow metal significantly declined in the global market.
According to the data shared by the All Pakistan Sarafa Jems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 10,600 per tola to Rs 446,300.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold declined by Rs 8,088 to Rs 382,630, and the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold dropped by Rs 8,331 to Rs 350,756.
On the global front, the price of the precious metal also saw a significant drop as the rate of gold per ounce declined by $ 106 to $4252.
Silver prices also witnessed a significant drop both in the local and international markets. In Pakistan, the price of 24 karat silver dropped by Rs 231 per tola to Rs 5273, and the price of 10grams of 24 karat silver declined by Rs 198 to Rs 4520.
In the global market, the silver price dropped by $2.31 to $51.86 per ounce.
