Karachi: In a successful operation, Pak Colony police raided a scrap warehouse in the Purano Golimar area and recovered a Mazda truck loaded with stolen motorcycle engines and spare parts.
Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the case.
According to a spokesperson for District Kemari Police, officers acted on a tip-off and carried out a raid on the warehouse, seizing a large quantity of motorcycle engines and other components believed to be stolen.
Police said the recovered spare parts had already been loaded into a Mazda truck, which was confiscated at the scene.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Zahid and Abdul Basir, while two other accused — Arbab Khan and Noor ul Haq — managed to escape. Authorities said searches and raids are ongoing to apprehend the absconding suspects.
Investigators added that further inquiries are under way to link the seized items to other possible thefts, and they expect the operation to uncover a major chain involved in motorcycle thefts.
