The new ARY Digital drama serial, Shar Pasand, is generating excitement after its premiere episode.
Produced by iDream Entertainment, the series is written by Sara Syed and directed by Aehsun Talish, featuring a soundtrack by Shahzaman Khan and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
The plot centers on Farasat Ali Khan, a deceptive and sly character, played by the acclaimed Nauman Ijaz, who pretends to befriend his neighbors as a pretext to flirt with the young women in the community.

The opening episode introduced Farasat’s neighborhood and the newlyweds, Fida and Sanam. The cast also includes Hira Mani, Hareem Farooq, and Affan Waheed.
The audience has overwhelmingly praised the first episode, particularly highlighting Nauman Ijaz’s exceptional performance in the complex, negative role of Farasat Ali.

Fans noted how the veteran actor “stole the show” with his versatility, top-notch acting, and natural expressiveness, especially his “eye movements.”

Many viewers commented that Ijaz perfectly embodies the character of a seemingly sweet but secretly malicious man, with several fans stating that his “phenomenal acting” and powerful “aura” set him apart from other acting icons.

Nauman Ijaz is a legendary actor in the Pakistani drama industry. He has been working since 1989; he has played many roles and has been a senior actor on state television PTV.
As of 2014, he had acted in some 175 television series.
