Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan and Malaysia have consensus on important issues. On most matters, our views are similar, and there are excellent relations between Malaysia and Pakistan.
According to details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while addressing a joint press conference with his Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim today, said that both countries have consensus on important matters and very positive discussions took place today. He said Malaysia is our second home.
In the joint press conference, the Prime Minister said that we discussed enhancement of bilateral relations and global issues. This is my first visit to Malaysia. Various agreements and MoUs have been signed between Pakistan and Malaysia.
On this occasion, the Malaysian Prime Minister said that he held discussions with the Prime Minister of Pakistan on global issues and the grave situation in Palestine. Peace between Pakistan and India is important for regional stability.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Malaysia on a two-day official visit where his delegation was accorded a grand welcome. At Kuala Lumpur’s Bunga Raya International Airport, Malaysian Minister of Information and Communications Fahmi Fadzil, Pakistani High Commissioner Syed Ahsan Raza Shah, and diplomatic staff received him.
On this occasion, the streets of Kuala Lumpur were adorned with Pakistani and Malaysian flags. Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim warmly welcomed him and extended greetings. Shehbaz Sharif thanked him for the warm reception, saying that he felt great pleasure visiting Malaysia and that this visit will further strengthen relations between the two countries.
