Gold prices witnessed a drop of Rs2500 per tola in Pakistan on Thursday, while the price of the yellow metal also declined in the international market.

As per the data shared by the All Pakistan Sarafa Jems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 2500 per tola to Rs 407778, and the price of 10grams of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs 2144 to Rs 349603.
Similarly, the price of 10grams of 22 karat gold declined by Rs 1965 to Rs 320481. On the global front, the price of the precious metal declined by $25 per ounce to $3865.
Meanwhile, contrary to gold, the prices of silver increased both in the local and global markets. In Pakistan, per tola silver of 24 karat hiked by Rs13 to Rs4839, and the price of 10grams of silver increased by Rs11 to Rs4148.
In the international market, the silver price witnessed an increase of $ 0.13 per ounce to $ 47.40, the association reported.
