Pakistan Cricket Board(PCB) Chairman Muhsin Naqvi has rejected the Indian media’s claim that he is refusing to hand over the Asia Cup Trophy to the winning Indian team, saying that he is ready to hand over the trophy.
He also rejected the claim that he had apologized to the Indian Cricket Board, BCCI, for not giving the trophy to the Indian team.
Naqvi, who is also serving as the president of the Asian Cricket Council, clarified that he is ready to hand over the trophy to Indian, but for this Indian captain would have to visit his office to collect it.

In a Tweet, Naqvi wrote: “Indian media thrives on lies, not facts. Let me make it absolutely clear: I have done nothing wrong, and I have never apologized to the BCCI nor will I ever do so.”
“This fabricated nonsense is nothing but cheap propaganda, aimed only at misleading their own people. Unfortunately, India continues to drag politics into cricket, damaging the very spirit of the game. As ACC President, I was ready to hand over the trophy that very day, and I am still ready now. If they truly want it, they are welcome to come to the ACC office and collect it from me,” he added.
