The Government of Pakistan has launched the PM Laptop Scheme 2025 for college and university students across the country.
According to officials, this scheme is specifically aimed at students from financially disadvantaged families who cannot afford to purchase a laptop. As per the government’s statement, the primary objective is to support students in attending online classes, freelancing, and conducting research.
Many students who apply for the scheme remain unaware of whether their application has been accepted or rejected. To address this issue, the government has introduced an online verification system, allowing applicants to check their status with just a few clicks.
How to Check Your Application Status:
-
Visit the official website of the PM Youth Program.
-
Enter your CNIC (National ID) number.
-
Select your university or college.
-
The system will instantly display the status of your application—whether it’s approved, under review, or rejected.
Required Documents for Application:
-
A valid CNIC or a NADRA-verified B-form
-
Student ID card or proof of enrollment from your university
-
Latest academic transcript
-
Updated personal information in the university’s database
Even if a student’s application is approved, there may still be delays in receiving the laptop. According to authorities, the main reasons for such delays include:
-
Incorrect CNIC number
-
Inactive mobile number or email
-
Outdated academic records
-
Multiple applications using the same CNIC
If a student’s name is not on the list, they can contact the focal person at their university or complain to the PM Youth Program helpline.
