Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, while speaking on important matters with a German magazine, said that Afghan nationals are involved in terrorism and evidence exists of this.
According to details, on September 5, while speaking with the representative of a German magazine on important matters, the DG ISPR said that Pakistan hosted millions of Afghan refugees for 40 years. Organized measures were taken for the dignified repatriation of the refugees.
During the discussion, the DG ISPR said that Pakistan, on humanitarian grounds, extended the deadline for the repatriation of Afghan refugees multiple times. There is credible evidence that illegal Afghan nationals are involved in terrorism and serious crimes.
The DG ISPR said that the basic reasons for giving asylum to Afghan refugees were foreign intervention and civil war, and those reasons no longer exist. Violent incidents in India are the result of the Indian government’s increasing extremist policies.
The DG ISPR said that India presents internal issues as external and external issues as internal. The terrorist acts that occur in Pakistan involve India with state sponsorship. Evidence has emerged of serving Indian army officers being involved in terrorism.
He said that Pakistan has presented evidence of Indian terrorism before the world community multiple times. The international community should play its role for the resolution of the Kashmir issue. The Pakistani state rejects all non-state terrorist elements without discrimination.
There is no place in Pakistan for any Jaish or armed groups. The DG ISPR said that no group or individual other than the state has the authority to declare jihad. Pakistan played the role of a frontline state in the war against terrorism and has made immense sacrifices.
