Three days of rainfall in Thatta wreaked havoc, as a result of which many villages have been submerged where water has accumulated in several places.
According to details, rainfall has been continuing in Thatta for the last three days. Many villages have been submerged. Sakro’s UC Dabo village, Murid Jokhio, and several other villages have been affected by flood-like conditions.

Due to water accumulation up to 4 to 5 feet in rural areas, people are facing difficulties in movement and carrying out daily tasks.
Water has accumulated in 9 wards of the headquarters. Due to lack of drainage, citizens are facing distress. Several areas of Gharo have been completely submerged.
Water has entered houses in Gujo. Drainage has not yet been carried out in Masan, Bukhari, Sheikh, and Gandra neighborhoods as well.
It should be noted that apart from Thatta, the situation in Karachi and Hyderabad is also precarious due to rainfall. Officials say rescue operations are ongoing to relieve the people from difficulties.
