The national team’s seasoned batter Babar Azam is set to feature Peshawar Zalmi in a charity match aimed at supporting flood-affected people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The charity game (Flood Relief Exhibition match) will take place at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar on August 30 with a slogan, “Khel Se Khidmat”, roughly translated as service through sports.
Other notable players, including former captain Shahid Afridi, Younis Khan, and Kamran Akmal, are also expected to feature in the match, which will be played in front of a crowd of 17,000 at the still under-construction stadium.
The ticket price for an ordinary seat is Rs 1,000; however, there are also tickets available for 200 VVIPs and 800 VIPs.
Each VVIP enclosure seat costs Rs 50,000 and has been purchased by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other cabinet members.
