SIALKOT: The city of Sialkot has witnessed its heaviest rainfall in 11 years, with over 355 millimeters of rain recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the Deputy Commissioner.
The torrential downpour inundated several localities, including Rangpura, Shahabpura, Dara Arain, Allama Iqbal Chowk, and Prem Nagar, leaving streets and residential areas submerged.
Scary videos are being shared on social media after the rain.

The Meteorological Department has forecast that rain is likely to continue for another two to four hours.
District authorities reported that Nullah Dek has reached an extremely high flood level, with a flow of 77,000 cusecs, submerging multiple villages. Rescue teams are relocating residents to safer areas.
Meanwhile, a high-level flood has been recorded in River Chenab, where water flow has surged to 365,000 cusecs, while River Ravi is also experiencing significant flooding.
At Kot Naina, water flow in Ravi has reached 210,000 cusecs, and at Jassar, 142,020 cusecs have been recorded.
