Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Friday, reflecting a similar downward movement in the international market. In the local trade, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs1,500, closing at Rs355,700.
Data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) showed that the rate for 10 grams of gold slipped by Rs1,286, settling at Rs304,955.
On Thursday, the market had witnessed an increase, with the per-tola price rising by Rs2,000 to reach Rs357,200.

Globally, gold also recorded a decline, with prices falling by $15 to $3,330 per ounce, including a $20 premium, according to APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices were unchanged, holding steady at Rs4,031 per tola.
