Gold prices witnessed a significant surge in Pakistan on Saturday in line with a hike in the prices of the yellow metal in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of one tola of 24 karat gold increased by Rs6,100, hitting a record high of Rs359,000 against Rs352,900 per tola on Friday.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs 5,229 to reach Rs 307,784 against Rs. Rs302,641 on the previous day. The price of one tola of silver also went up by Rs53, reaching Rs3,953.

In the global gold market, the price of gold per ounce rose by $61 to reach $3,363 per ounce.
